We are looking for a highly skilled and business-oriented analyst, who will take key roles in the analysis and creation of reports and calculators for our insurance products in the three Baltic countries. This position is part of the pricing team in the Analytics, Products and Pricing division. You will participate in projects, knowledge sharing and trainings with other analysts from the Baltics and Nordics and build best practices in analytics.

About the job:

  • Participation in strategic projects where statistical and mathematical substantiation is needed
  • Creation of Excel reports and calculations
  • Creation of automated tools in Excel
  • Creation of data warehouse reports
  • Analysis of product data according to business raised hypothesis
  • Formulation of conclusions and proposals for improvement based on data analysis
  • Presentation of project results to the management

About you:

  • Education in business, economics, finance, insurance, mathematics, IT, statistics, or similar
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Experience working with Excel
  • Experience working with data warehouses (for example SAP BO or similar tools) would be an advantage
  • Experience in insurance would be an advantage
  • Basic understanding of programming (for example VBA, SQL, R, or similar) would be an advantage
  • High sense of responsibility and accuracy
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Results-oriented attitude and analytical thinking
  • Fluent in English

The salary range offered for this position is from 2320 EUR to 3480 EUR before taxes. The final salary for this position depends on the selected candidate‘s skills and competence. According to Gjensidige’s remuneration policy, salary is only a part of the remuneration package. Employees are provided with benefits, such as a week of additional winter vacation, health and life insurance, additional vacation day on birthday, and many others.
