Center of Excellence is expanding and is looking for a Data Engineering team manager to work in a data-driven, curious and motivated team in international work environment. The team lead will be responsible for functional and administrative management in different departments across Scandinavian and Baltic countries.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead Data engineering team;
- Ensure team results in terms of feedback and deliveries;
- Develop team members competence and ensure that capacity and skills are ahead needs;
- Administrative tasks: access rights, other approvals;
- Communicate with stakeholders and manage data engineering team resources allocation to different areas and projects;
- Data engineering tasks: participating in projects implementing automation, data pipelines, data management and IT infrastructure solutions.
About you:
- At least 4 years experience in data engineer or similar roles;
- Have knowledge in R, Python, SQL or similar programming languages;
- Familiar with Azure could data engineering tools;
- Management experience (people, projects);
- A higher education in the areas of mathematics, IT or similar;
- Fluency in English;
- Leadership skills to ensure establishment of new team direction, goals, alignment of team members ambitions with company needs and values;
- Initiative to drive change and lead team forward;
- Able to keep stable performance when handling team lead role with management responsibilities;
- Proactive in seeing things to improve and implementing changes.

Salary range offered for this position is from 3671 EUR to 5507 EUR before taxes. The final salary for this position depends on the selected candidate‘s skills and competence. According to Gjensidige remuneration policy, salary is only a part of the remuneration package. Employees are provided with the benefits, such as additional winter holidays, health and life insurance and many other.
