We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, always willing-to-improve goal seeker. As a data engineer, you will be facing many exciting technical challenges where you, together with a high-performing team, will develop pipelines in cloud data platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Front end data configuration using javascript (react/typescript);
  • Mapping data to source system using tag management application (Tealium etc.);
  • Building data pipeline using Azure data engineering tools (Data factory, delta lake, databricks, data build tool etc.);
  • Generate ideas for collecting front end systems data and implement their data models;
  • Explore new techniques/working methods and contribute to Gjensidige's ambition for cloud data platform.

About you:

  • 2+ years experience as a data engineer or similar position;
  • Good command in both spoken and written English;
  • Knowledge of front end technologies (html, javascript (react/typescript));
  • Knowledge and experience with Azure data engineering tools (Data factory, delta lake, databricks, data build tool etc.);
  • Experience with front end application logging / data collection (AWS console, Splunk or Google Analytics etc.);
  • Knowledge of web analytics (Google Anlaytics, Adobe Analytics, Firebase Analytics etc.);
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change the course of action rapidly;
  • Ready to work in an international environment across different countries.

Salary range offered for this position is from 2399EUR to 3598 EUR before taxes. The final salary for this position depends on the selected candidate‘s skills and  competence. According to Gjensidige remuneration policy, salary is only a part of the remuneration package. Employees are provided with the benefits, such as additional winter holidays, health and life insurance and many other.
